BYREDO creates a new perfume gesture with the launch of its Kabuki perfumes collection. With its delicate and soft kabuki brush, the powder is divinely restituted and lasts for hours. Application on pulse points creates a subtle and elegant fragrance trail. Light and practical, the powder brush is easy to carry and can be used several times throughout the day. The powder is transparent, delicate and soft. It doesn't stain and can be used in replacement or in combination with any of the existing BYREDO fragrances. The word Kabuki historically refers to traditional Japanese theater. A rich blend of music, dance, mime, and spectacular staging and costuming, Kabuki has been a major theatrical form in Japan for almost four centuries. There, the kabuki brush, was used to apply the white powder rice uniformly on the entire face. In modern Japanese, the word is written with three characters: ka, signifying "song" ; bu, "dance" ; and ki, "skill."
