Menswear by Isabel Marant, A Cold Wall and Nanushka
ISABEL MARANT, Men's Collection Autumn-Winter 2020
This season, ISABEL MARANT menswear invokes the elegance of Bob Dylan and the libertarian spirit of the Seventies. Mixing genres and eras, the offering combines Parisian wardrobe essentials and sportswear-inspired pieces.
It provides the framework for a looser, more creative new workwear uniform... a tailored jacket teamed with a thick woollen check shirt and pleated trousers set off with trainers as opposed to brogues.
Natural colours are lifted by electric blue and folk-inspired patterns. Boots are furry and trousers baggy, while coats are warm and enveloping; think cool meets comfort.

A COLD WALL, Autumn Winter 2020 Collection
A COLD WALL has always incited a cultural conversation that revels in the confidence and dynamism of youth. Five years on, it welcomes a new kind of man: a working man at the heart of his community, whether as artisan, writer, sculptor or industrial designer. Autumn/Winter 2020 marks a refining of intention. Signature aesthetics are distilled through new materials, silhouettes and categories.
Autumn/Winter 2020 is a mature proposition for the classics of menswear. Samuel Ross reviews the pea coat, blouson, double-breasted Suit, overcoat and rain MAC. What was once a study of deconstruction is now a philosophy of growth. Graphics and logos have transformed into textile and polished hardware.
NANUSHKA, Autumn Winter 2020 Collection
Where East meets West, NANUSHKA draws inspiration from the spiritual journey through cultures and time, effortlessly combining function with flair. NANUSHKA delivers a modern, versatile, day to night wardrobe for the modern bohemian with the aim of creating a new informal form of beauty.
The Fall/Winter 2020 menswear collection drew inspiration from the ease and simplicity of monastic style, it is defined by soft tailoring, new proportions and vegan leather. Silhouettes are elongated and relaxed through outerwear and suiting.
Knitwear made from repurposed plastic bottles and recycled cashmere has a distinct nomadic attitude, particularly in coordinating sweater and shorts sets.
